Printing Methods

At KidCricket, we use Plot Printing for all of our garments. Plot printing takes a thin layer of soft, felt-like color material then precisely cuts it out with a computer driven cutting machine. Then we heat press the material until it fuses to the fabric of the garment. We use plot printing because:

  • Plot prints don’t fade with washing
  • Plot prints are soft and comfortable
  • Plot prints are available in a variety of specialty surfaces
  • Plot prints simply last a lot longer than silkscreen

Ink Choices

We use a material call Flock for all of our designs. It is soft, extremely durable, very washable, and the perfect choice for your hip baby or kid.

Is this like CafePress?

Oh nnnoooooo! We don’t ever use cheap digital printing for our clothing. KidCricket designs are meticulously cut out by a super-complicated machine called a plotter. Then the designs are applied by hand one garment at a time. The designs wont fade over time like other on-demand printing methods.

Returns

At KidCricket, we use Spreadshirt for our back-end printing and fullfilment. Each garment is printed at the time of the order, and is unique. Since we cant restock and resell returned garments, we only accept returns if we botch something up in the process. If you order the wrong size or quantity, returns cannot be accepted. We really wish it was not the case, and we hope you understand.

Is the ordering process safe?

Absolutely! We process all orders through the Spreadshirt shopping cart. When you purchase, you are actually viewing the secure store through our website. All of your information is safe, and we never sell our mailing list.
